Cindy Moon crouches low and purposeful against a glittering city skyline, silk threads fanning out from her red-gloved hands to ensnare a skull-faced figure tangled in her web far below — it's a striking image of a hero very much in control. Helen Chen's cover work gives the scene a cool, painterly atmosphere that suits Silk's street-level style perfectly. With writer Robbie Thompson, artist Tana Ford, and colorist Ian Herring all on board, "Doorways" looks like another confident chapter in one of Marvel's more distinctive 2016 series.
