Siege #2

From Image Comics' 1997 series, Siege #2 — "The Road Less Traveled" — plunges right into the chaos with a cover by Robert Teranishi and Al Vey that's genuinely hard to look away from. A red-hued, crackling backdrop sets the stage for a fierce red-haired warrior brandishing a blade atop a writhing mass of teal-skinned creatures, while several white-suited figures are dragged into the fray below. It's a dense, kinetic pile-up of a composition that makes a strong case for picking up this Jonathan Peterson–scripted series.
