“Duel entre les deux Adam Strange”

In "Duel entre les deux Adam Strange," set designer Dane Foote ignites an ancient candle from a recent purchase, sparking a vivid dream that inspires a groundbreaking film set and special effect. But when the scene is brought to life, the illusion becomes terrifyingly real—mirroring a disaster that strikes an actual town. Nick Cardy’s dynamic art brings the eerie blend of creativity and consequence to life, while Gil Kane and Murphy Anderson’s cover captures the story’s haunting tension.

Set designer Dane Foote lights his office with an ancient candle found amongst some props he has purchased. Under the light of the candle, he dreams up the perfect set design and the perfect special effect for the movie he is working on. Unfortunately, after the set is built and the scene is shot, a real-life town falls victim to the same thing that happens to the town in the film.
