Shirtless Bear-Fighter Volume 1 collects the first story arc of the 2017 Image Comics series, following a hairy, angry, and perpetually shirtless man who defends the forest from a variety of bizarre threats, including a demonic bear and a pancake-obsessed villain. Written by Jody LeHeup and Sebastian Girner with art by Nil Vendrell, this over-the-top action-comedy pays loving homage to '80s and '90s genre tropes while delivering absurd, bear-punching mayhem.
