Ship Ahoy #1

"Ship Ahoy!" is an anthology featuring military-themed stories. One story depicts a Navy flight surgeon who tests high-altitude equipment by bailing out from forty thousand feet and landing safely via parachute, proving the effectiveness of the new equipment to skeptical officers. Another story follows a Norwegian merchant ship in the Gulf of Mexico that is attacked by a Nazi rattlesnake submarine, resulting in explosions and combat as the Norwegian crew fights back. A third story, "Girls in Navy Blue," depicts female Navy personnel undergoing basic training in New York City and learning essential duties like maintaining barracks shipshape.
