This volume adapts the first episode of the BBC's modern Sherlock series, 'A Study in Pink,' into manga form. Originally serialized in Kadokawa's Young Gangan magazine, it follows the initial meeting between John Watson and the brilliant but eccentric consulting detective Sherlock Holmes as they investigate a series of mysterious suicides linked by a cryptic message. The story stays faithful to the television script while adding visual flair unique to the manga medium.
