"The Claw-Men of Zulu Veldt" involves Sheena encountering a frightened bobtail and pursuing a spear-wielding native girl through the jungle, eventually discovering an angered wart hog in pursuit. "King Solomon's Safari" shows Sheena being captured by villains who plan to use her to help them capture the sleeping Zagula, but she manages to escape their trap. "The War of the Golden Apes" depicts Sheena encountering an oddly costumed child who leads her into a cave, where she discovers a horned killer ape that she must battle, ultimately taming the creature Chim with the help of Bob and their companions.
Sheena and her mate Bob rescue a half-dead native from the river and learn of a dangerous safari led by the treacherous Baskon, who's been luring expeditions to the Khafkini ruins under false promises of finding the lost L'Gandi lands. When Sheena brings the survivor to Baskon's camp, she discovers the con artist's true nature and must navigate the deadly game unfolding around Professor Burn and his doomed expedition.
