Mike Grell's Shaman's Tears reaches its twelfth issue with a cover — penciled and inked by Grell himself — that crackles with spiritual tension against a blazing orange sky. A powerful antlered figure dominates the center, gripped in a fierce struggle with a young man in jeans and sneakers atop what appears to be a jagged, creature-like perch, while a third figure lurks in the shadows to the left, knife in hand.
