Shaker Monster #3

The cover of this 2018 Gallimard release from Mr Tan and Mathilde Domecq is an absolute feast of cheerful chaos — a blond kid bursts through a sea of grinning orange monsters with pure, wide-mouthed delight, while a dark-haired girl behind him looks considerably less thrilled about the whole situation. Joyeux Bazar! ("Happy Chaos!") the cover practically shouts, and with hundreds of goofy little creatures packed into every corner, it's hard to argue with that assessment.
