“Death in the Glass Mountain”

In "Death in the Glass Mountain," Iron Munro—Jupiter-born, Earth-bred adventurer—teams with the Magyans, descendants of the lost continent of Mu, only to be captured by the Teff-els and taken to their homeworld. With cunning and resolve, Munro turns the tables, seizing their vessel and returning to Magya to forge chemical weapons in a desperate bid to defend his allies. Written by John Campbell and Theodore Sturgeon, with art by E. C. Stoner and striking cover by Jerome Rozen, this 1940 Shadow Comics tale blends pulp adventure with early sci-fi intrigue in a 10-cent classic.
