Hasselmusen, Kaninmannens unge medhjälpare, skriver ner historien om vad som hände med hans mentor. Redan i unga år erfor pojken som skulle bli Kaninmannen att det fanns andra dimensioner då bedragare från en annan värld mördade hans föräldrar och tog deras plats. Som ett resultat vigde pojken sitt liv åt att bekämpa brott som Kaninmannen. På senare tid har ett dimensionshål uppenbarat sig på gymnasieskolan. Kaninmannen ger sig iväg till en annan dimension och Hasselmusen beslutar sig för att följa efter.
