Sgt. Bilko's Pvt. Doberman #11
Sgt. Bilko’s Pvt. Doberman #11 (1960) delivers another delightfully chaotic chapter in the misadventures of the ever-resourceful Bilko, as he schemes to keep Doberman from being reassigned—only to find himself in over his head when he attempts to hypnotize Mrs. Hall himself. Written by Cal Howard and illustrated by Bob Oksner, this 10-cent comic from 1960 captures the classic mix of military farce and slapstick wit, with Oksner’s expressive art bringing the absurdity to life on every page.
