Serie-pocket #117
In "De onde," set on the remote island of Timpenni off the Bengal coast, ancient drums wield a hidden power that draws travelers from the jungle—only to enslave them. When the jungle people rise in fury, burning the island and destroying the drums, a fleeing drummaker escapes with his son and one last, mysterious instrument. Written by Lee Falk and illustrated by Sy Barry, this haunting tale unfolds with quiet dread, its cover by Sy Barry capturing the island’s eerie stillness.
