The husband of Lita's sister has been charged with fraud and sent to prison for ten years. Laura tells Lita that her husband claims Charles Hallet falsified the accounting. Lita promises to help and follows Hallet. When she sees him board a plane leaving the country, she stows away on the plane. She is soon discovered by a stewardess, but a fire in one of the engines forces the plane to crash land in the Rocky Mountains.
