After work, Brandon drives an underage girl, Kendall, to a cliff and tries to seduce her. She fights back and he falls from the cliff. She cleans her side of the car and leaves on a hidden motorcycle. She goes to a storage unit where she changes clothes, removes a wig, and leaves in a car. In a Volkswagen Kombi, alone in the woods, Zoe dreams of killing monsters. She is woken up by a phone call from Jill, Brandon's wife. The police are asking for an alibi for her husband's death. Zoe instructs her to say nothing and starts in the Kombi to her house.
