Sergio Aragonés Groo #6

Sergio Aragonés brings his signature manic energy to this 1995 Image Comics installment of Groo, with a cover — penciled and inked by Aragonés himself — that says everything about what kind of trouble our hapless wanderer gets into. Groo leaps wildly through the air, sword raised overhead, while a smoking cannon sits at his feet with a very rattled-looking Rufferto trapped beneath it, cannonballs and puffs of smoke scattered across the ground around them. With "The Great Invention" as the story title, this cover sets up the chaos perfectly — whatever brilliant contraption someone has dreamed up, Groo has almost certainly already broken it.
