Part of Marvel Knights' 2001 Sentry event, this one-shot brings together the golden hero and the X-Men's winged Angel in a story by writer Paul Jenkins with art by Mark Texeira. The cover, painted in earthy, muted tones by Texeira, frames the two figures beautifully — the Sentry stands powerfully in the foreground, cape billowing, while Angel soars above him with great wings spread wide against a hazy sky. It's a quietly striking image that makes a strong case for this crossover on atmosphere alone.
