Sentry #3

Issue three of this 2006 Marvel miniseries delivers a striking cover by John Romita Jr. and inker Mark Morales, pitting the golden-blazing Sentry in a headlong collision course with a massive, snarling Hulk amid a storm of shattered rock and debris. The cosmic tension between these two powerhouses — one radiant with energy, the other all brute green fury — makes for a genuinely arresting image. With Paul Jenkins scripting and John Romita Jr. handling interior art as well, "The Sentry Act Three" promises the kind of epic, character-driven storytelling this series does so well.
