The superhero Nightvision visits reporter Guy Desmond in an apartment building, hoping to trap a murderer who is after Guy. Elsewhere a man picks up a prostitute and afterwards tells her cruelly that he has given her AIDS. The police arrest a man trying to get to Guy's room. Guy takes a plane back home but at the airport he meets escaped convict Carlos who shoots him in the back.
