Sensational Spider-Man #24
In "Feral, Part Two: Cat Scratch Fever," Spider-Man faces a terrifying double threat as two versions of The Lizard rampage through the city, their animal instincts unchecked. With Black Cat fighting alongside him—her own control slipping as the chaos takes hold—Spider-Man must hold the line before the city descends further into madness. The issue ends with a shocking moment: the smaller Lizard, shot by a panicked bystander, reverts to his human form—Billy Connors, son of the original Dr. Connors—leaving the consequences of the night’s violence hanging in the air. Written by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and illustrated by Angel Medina, with inks by Scott Hanna, colors by Dan Kemp, and letters by Cory Petit, the cover by Medina and Hanna captures the frenzy in bold, dynamic strokes.

While all of Spider-Man’s friends and enemies with animal powers continue to go crazy, Spider-Man finds himself in a pitched battle with two versions of The Lizard. Black Cat lends a hand, but is almost as feral as the villains she is combating. As the battle ends, the smaller Lizard is shot by a bystander and transforms back into his original state, Doc Connors' son Billy.
