After collecting Betty's new dress from the tailor, Willy gets it covered in mud, so a section has to be removed. She herself puts an iron through it, so has to wear another dress. But sneaky Dexter drops Willy in it by producing the cut-off hem from the tailor's shop. It backfires when they enter the dance and discover that all the girls are wearing the same style as the ruined dress, so Betty stands out from the crowd.
