Sectaurs #8

The final issue of Marvel's Sectaurs: Warriors of Symbion goes out with a bang, promising "To All Things — An Ending!" right on the cover. Steve Geiger's cover artwork pits a massive, skeletal insectoid creature — all jagged limbs and gnashing mandibles — against a small band of warriors, with energy blasts lighting up the rust-colored sky as a purple insect creature and two humanoid fighters scramble to survive. Bill Mantlo's "Battle and Betrayal!" sounds like exactly the kind of dramatic send-off this 1986 series deserves.
