A car hop has a crush on Stan, who comes to the drive-in every day in a fancy car and with a different girlfriend. She never responds to his flirtatious come-ons, fearing her heart will be broken. Depressed, she decides to get a makeover and goes to a new beauty salon. Stan is a hairdresser there: he says the car belongs to his boss and his “girlfriends” are workers from the shop. He wanted to ask her for a date but she never gave him an opening. Stan and the young woman get married.
