A scientist creates a machine that can teleport anyone to another location although they suffer amnesia. He offers his services to a prison warden and a convict decides to use it for two weeks to get out of the stir. He doesn't want to have amnesia for more than two weeks because his partner on the outside holds his share of stolen money. The amnesiac con becomes friendly with his partner and robs him of the money. Two weeks later he travels through space, causing the money to be lost in a river. After serving his time he finds his partner who explains he was robbed by a man with amnesia.
