Secret Society of Super-Villains #11
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThe Secret Society's ranks look more dangerous than ever in this December 1977 entry, with the cover by Rich Buckler depicting a chaotic brawl as Captain Comet charges into battle against a formidable assembly of villains — including a massive gorilla-like figure in a green cape, a pink-costumed woman, a muscular orange-skinned bruiser, a red-suited speedster, and a rocky creature lurking at the edge of the fray. The cover copy tantalizingly promises that the Society's new leader is ready to make short work of the returning hero, raising the stakes nicely. Gerry Conway scripts the interior while Mike Vosburg handles the art, making this a solid creative team for one of DC's more delightfully offbeat ensemble titles of the Bronze Age.
