Cynthia's born in May and her horoscope predicts innocence and happiness. She's lucky to find beautiful gardenias thown out a window. She's then lucky to meets Larry, who bought the flowers. But then comes Bette, who threw the flowers away and she spitefully destroys Larry and Cynthia's happiness. Larry runs after Cynthia and catches her on the bus. He decides they were born for each other—he was born in May too.
