Scream: Curse of Carnage #5

The fifth issue of Scream: Curse of Carnage closes out its opening arc with a cover that hits like a wall — Scream's symbiote face fills the entire image, all glowing white eyes, razor-edged teeth, and crimson tendrils radiating outward in every direction. Ryan Stegman's cover pencils and inks give the character an almost tactile ferocity, with the dark, brooding palette amplifying just how unsettling this symbiote can be. If you've been following this series, issue #5 is a striking capstone to what Marvel was building in 2020.
