Stupie

Stupie ventures into the countryside to share his considerable farming knowledge, regaling his friends with hilariously misguided facts about nature, cows, hogs, and chickens—each answer more ridiculous than the last. When his pals suggest he take his expertise directly to a nearby farmhouse, Stupie eagerly accepts what he thinks is an invitation to dinner, setting the stage for a comedic confrontation with the farmer himself.

Doc Watson challenges Alex Bell to a riddle-betting game in this 1946 humor story, where the two wager dollars on their ability to guess each other's riddles—with a catch that makes the odds more interesting. Stupie

Stupie struggles to grasp the fundamentals of subtraction when his teacher explains the concept, insisting that you can only subtract numbers of the same kind—no taking oranges from bananas. When the teacher challenges him to prove her wrong, Stupie counters with an absurd real-world example that turns the lesson on its head, finding humor in the gap between mathematical rules and everyday logic.
