The third chapter of Rodolphe, Leo, and Marchal's series follows Kathy Austin into what looks like genuinely atmospheric territory — the cover shows her standing resolute before a storm-darkened ruined manor, birds scattering into a brooding yellow-grey sky, while a mysterious figure lingers in the shadows behind her. Marchal's artwork gives the Scottish setting a wonderfully moody, gothic weight that feels both grounded and quietly unsettling. If the first two volumes drew you in, this 2024 Dargaud Benelux release looks every bit as richly composed as its predecessors.
