Scooby-Doo, Where Are You? #85

Shaggy's golf pun ("Like, it's a fore-gone conclusion we're in trouble, Scoob!") sets the tone perfectly for this November 2017 entry in DC's all-ages series — because he and Scooby-Doo are very much trapped inside the gaping, tooth-lined jaws of a massive sea creature, with a windmill visible in the uneasy distance. Derek Fridolfs's cover is charming and genuinely funny, balancing the duo's wide-eyed panic against the monster's glowing yellow eye looming overhead. With the interior story titled "A Horror in One," this is a delightfully spooky round of mystery-solving that fans of the gang will want to pick up.
