Scooby-Doo, Where Are You? #80
In "Wash, Rinse, Refreak!", the gang hits the car wash after unmasking "The Bog Beast," only to find the Mystery Machine's soapy spin cycle haunted by a bizarre, tentacled, one-eyed brush monster dubbed "The Clean Fiend." Written by Derek Fridolfs and illustrated by Randy Elliott, with colors by Silvana Brys and letters by Saida Temofonte, this 2017 DC adventure turns a routine clean into a sudsy mystery—complete with whirling brushes and a very suspicious scrubbing machine. The cover, penciled and inked by Fridolfs, captures the chaos in bold, playful detail.

After unmasking "The Bog Beast" in some mucky swampland, the gang takes the slime-covered Mystery Machine to a car wash. As the van moves through the sudsy water-pressured works and great whirling brushes, Scooby spots a tentacled, cyclopean brush monster dubbed "The Clean Fiend". A second run through the wash proves the existence of The Clean Fiend to the rest of the gang, who characteristically vow to get to the bottom of this mystery.
