In "Den gamle astronauten," Scooby and the gang find themselves tangled in a mystery at the Museum of Ancient Art when a sarcophagus starts coughing and smoking, leading to a bizarre discovery: a self-destructing tape recorder. With an ancient artifact called the Axtakl stolen and clues pointing to a remote location in Central America, the gang boards a plane to track down the thieves before the artifact falls into the wrong hands.
