Scooby and the gang visit New Lichfield, home to the legendary "Colony Creature," a giant iron monster who terrorized rebel colonists after the Boston Tea Party. While Shaggy and Scooby cash travelers' cheques, the Creature appears to attack the bank. In the commotion, a safety deposit box is stolen and Scooby is captured. The gang tracks down a historical journal describing the creation of a demon suit out of iron to scare the townspeople. They use the information they learn to rescue Scooby, capture the crooks and destroy the suit.
