“Flight Fright!”

In "Flight Fright!", Mystery Inc. takes on a bizarre case when a teenaged son claims a werewolf wrecked his father's car—his only excuse for the damage being a bid to avoid punishment. With their usual mix of skepticism and curiosity, the gang digs into the strange story, proving once again they’re not just after clues, but the truth behind the wild tales. Written by John Rozum and illustrated by Robert Pope, with inks by Scott McRae and colors by Heroic Age, the issue features a cover by Scott Neely.

In one of Mystery Inc.'s more unconventional cases, the gang is called to prove (or disprove) a teenaged son's outlandish claim that, while driving his father's car, the vehicle was severely damaged by a werewolf. The motivation on the son's part is strictly to avoid punishment and grounding for damaging the car. ...Amazingly, our mystery-solvers respond and investigate, rather than simply refer Dad to his insurance company.
