Scooby Apocalypse #21

Scooby Apocalypse #21 brings the post-apocalyptic reimagining of Mystery Inc. to a fever pitch, with a cover by Carlos D'Anda showing a snarling, electricity-crackling Scooby-Doo front and center, flanked by a weapon-wielding Daphne and a wide-eyed Velma as a shadowy, monstrous threat closes in from the darkness — while a figure scrambles for safety on a gantry above. Writers Keith Giffen and J. M. DeMatteis, with artist Ron Wagner, deliver the kind of tense, high-stakes atmosphere that made this series a genuinely fresh take on beloved characters in 2018. And if that weren't enough, a backup chapter of Secret Squirrel rounds out the issue with a wink to classic Hanna-Barbera fans.
