This issue of School Friend is an anthology featuring three complete stories. "Secret Enemy of the Pets Club" follows Josie Gray and Hazel Robins as they prepare for a pets show at their school, unaware that a mysterious stranger named Mr. Spencer is plotting to sabotage their plans. "Morna—Rebel of the Manor" by Hazel Armitage tells of a girl named Morna who hides camping equipment in a cave on the moors, later encountering danger when a Nazi officer confronts her at a doctor's house. "Susie's Wonder Cruise" by Jane Preston features Susie and her companions discovering a Greek boy hiding on their cruise ship; after he steals Mrs. Bolton's pearl necklace, they pursue him through the ship to recover it and uncover his true circumstances.
