Scary Tales #17

Two smaller panels at the bottom intensify the dread, pairing a shrieking bat-winged figure with a green-skinned menace closing in on a terrified woman. At 35 cents, this was a fine December pick for anyone who liked their horror served with vivid, unsettling style.
