Wanda has been seeing a therapist for months who has probed into her past, seeking to help her confront some of the major contradictions in her life. Gradually, she has come to realize that her doctor is actually the Ringmaster in disguise, using his hypnotism to induce her to pay his fee (unknowingly) with stolen gems. When she unmasks him at last, both of them agree that they have gained some insights from their association.
