Scaredy Cat is a kitten who wanders away from her mother and siblings while they're sleeping. Scaredy Cat explores a nearby pumpkin patch, and is frightened of owls and bats. SC encounters a friendly black cat near a jack-o-lantern, who helps him/her back to the mother cat. Later, Scaredy Cat sees a witch flying in the moonlight, and recognizes the black cat sitting on the broom with the witch as the one who helped her/him.
