Savior #5

Clayton Crain's cover for this fifth issue places a lone, dark-haired figure at the center of a dizzying corridor lined with fragmented, skull-filled imagery — a striking visual of someone suspended between worlds or realities. The cool blue palette and radiating light beneath the figure give the whole composition an otherworldly, almost transcendent tension. Brian Holguin and Todd McFarlane's Savior has been one of Image's more quietly compelling series of 2015, and this cover suggests the story is heading somewhere genuinely unsettling.
