Savage Spider-Man #2

The second chapter of "Web of Blood" arrives with a cover by Nick Bradshaw that pulls no punches: a bestial, monstrous Spider-Man crouches in a grimy alleyway, his red-and-blue suit stretched over a hulking, feral body covered in fur, his chest blazing with glowing spider-eyes and his fanged maw wide open. It's a genuinely unsettling vision of Peter Parker's alter ego pushed to some feral extreme, rendered in extraordinary anatomical detail amid scattered trash and shadowy brick walls. Joe Kelly's script, brought to life inside by Gerardo Sandoval, Víctor Nava, and Chris Sotomayor, promises to keep this dark, wild ride going strong.
