The penultimate issue of Robert Kirkman's God War miniseries arrives with a cover by Mark Englert that's impossible to ignore — a massive, roaring orange dragon dominates the frame, its enormous fanged maw surging toward the viewer while a heavily armored, caped villain rides triumphantly atop its head, fist raised with weapon in hand. Scattered figures — including what appears to be a blue-clad hero flung through the chaos — suggest a battle of genuinely mythic proportions.
