Di-Giorgio and Nörmile's Samurai Légendes continues with this fifth volume, "Trompeuses apparences" — a title ("Deceptive Appearances") that feels perfectly matched to the tension between the dragon's overwhelming power and whatever fate awaits the vulnerable figure caught in its wake. Frédéric Genêt's linework gives the creature a stunning, almost luminescent quality that makes this one of the most visually arresting entries in the series.
