Samson #10
In "Die rätselhaften Flüchtlinge," a displaced tribe emerges from a tunnel to besiege N'Yark, forcing Samson to defend the city—only to discover they are refugees, women and children among them, fleeing invaders from Staten Island. After feeding them, Samson learns of the Staten Island Ferry and leads the group toward it, while King Kull, exiled from N'Yark and Jerz, now rules Tallplace Town with an iron grip, his forces attacking Samson before retreating. The question remains: how can Samson stop Kull’s growing threat?
In "Die Gedankenjagd," Tom and Cindia navigate a city in crisis when a food manufacturing machine fails, sparking panic among the populace. With no immediate solution in sight, Tom uses his rare mental ability to search through time, guided by Cindia’s precise directions, to locate an ancient food emporium buried beneath the urban ruins. As he leads workers to the hidden storehouse, the city’s hunger is eased—while Tom’s secret remains intact.
In "Ein grausamer Kampf," Samson races through a jungle of flat-top trees to protect King Kull, only to face a terrifying Gorillasaur in combat. With Kull's men seizing Sharmaine and Mindor, the young warrior is forced to repair a ray-rifle under duress while Samson fights to survive a deadly zap and a plunge into the wild. As the tide turns, Samson gains the upper hand—delivering a final blow that sends Kull crashing into the depths, where the Gorillasaur awaits. The refugees may now return home, and our heroes stand victorious.
