# Sam Hill #7 This issue contains two detective stories. In "Private Eye," Sam Hill confronts a man named Taylor who has been accused of murder by a woman who has returned to finger him, threatening Hill with a gun. "The Jittery Jockey Caper" follows private investigator Johnny Caro, who is hired by a client named Roger Merrill to investigate a horse named "Foggy Night" that has a reputation for being unable to run; Caro discovers the horse was part of a scheme involving juvenile delinquency, and ultimately locates a missing girl with help from his fiancée Roxy by purchasing a cheap jalopy and following suspects to a warehouse.
