The third volume of Glénat's biographical comics series brings us "Le compagnon du vent," depicting a resolute, leather-jacketed aviator rising large against a dramatic backdrop of snow-swept mountain peaks — while a small propeller plane pushes through the swirling storm below him. Writer Pierre-Roland Saint-Dizier and artist Cédric Fernandez continue their portrait of Saint-Exupéry, and this cover, rendered by Rivera, captures beautifully the tension between human determination and the raw power of the elements.
