Harvey Comics' long-running army humor series delivers another helping of slapstick chaos in this 1968 issue. George Baker's cover says it all: a hapless soldier has managed to crash a delivery vehicle into a loading dock, sending a crate of melons flying onto his head while a sergeant covers his face in disbelief and a small dog trots off with something labeled "mutton" — all in front of a sign reading "Mess Delivery." It's the kind of cheerful, good-natured military misadventure that earned Sad Sack its "Loved by Millions" tagline, and this issue looks to deliver more of the same.
