Harvey's beloved everyman blunderer is at it again in this 1967 issue, with cover art by George Baker showing Sad Sack in a Fire Department uniform gleefully blasting a fire hose straight through a doorway — drenching an unfortunate figure on the other side with a resounding "CRUNCH" — while a bewildered officer and the little dog Mutsy look on in dismayed disbelief. True to form, Sad Sack's well-intentioned effort has produced spectacular chaos, capturing everything fans "loved by millions" have always adored about the character. A wonderfully funny slice of mid-1960s Harvey humor that holds up beautifully.
