Sad Sack Comics #181

Harvey's long-running army misfit is back in top form with issue #181, cover by George Baker. The yellow cover bursts with slapstick chaos as Sad Sack crashes through a trash can on a runaway skateboard — sending debris flying and leaving a bewildered sergeant wide-eyed in his wake — while a little dog labeled "Mutsy" scurries along for the ride. It's the kind of cheerfully anarchic military comedy that made this series "loved by millions," and this 1966 installment looks like a fine example of why.
