Sad Sack Comics #171
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeHarvey Comics' long-running everyman soldier is back in this November 1965 installment, with George Baker's cover art perfectly capturing the hapless charm that made Sad Sack "loved by millions." The cover shows our bewildered protagonist caught in a cascade of comic chaos — a blue car crashing behind him, a toppled "One Way" sign at his feet, a city map declaring "You Are Here," and his loyal dog Muttsy nearby — all while a stern sergeant looks on disapprovingly. It's a wonderfully absurd snapshot of a man who can't seem to catch a break no matter where he stands.
